Pusan International Film Festival
The Festival has won Felini Medal that UNESCO grants to promote in the world the cultural diversity, in fact the Festival is interested to the world and international cinema but its objective is mainly the support to the Asian and Korean cinema, to the independent ones, to the young producers and to the Asian and Korean actors so that they can accede to the international cinema. At the same time the Festival organizes one of the more animated cinematographic markets.
PIFF Village has become a symbol of the Festival: an encounter of music, photographs, graphical arts and cinema in the beach of Haeundae. A familiar and friendly event where the spectators can enjoy music and cinema under stars.
